3. Flat Attack is engineered to the mandate of the best possible products while leaving the least environmental impact.

Does temperature effect the performance of Flat Attack?
No it doesn’t.

Will Flat Attack react with other sealants?
You cannot mix Flat Attack with any other sealant, it will chemically react to them all However, we treat our sealant so it does not react to materials around it Thus it will not corrode your valve core or rim. It does not contain any ammonia or other harsh chemicals that will rot or breakdown the integrity of the tire or tube, Thus it does not void factory warranties on tubeless tires.

Can Flat Attack seal bead leaks or snake bites?
Centrifugal forces will always throw the sealant to the outside under the tread area of the tire Gravity always pulls it down. There just is no way for the sealant to get up the sidewall to the bead. The only way to seal these leaks is to fill the tire up with sealant or put a chemical in the sealant that would create an atmosphere that would cause a chemical reaction between the rim and the bead. The downside of these efforts is obvious. This problem is not singular to Flat Attack, all sealants have to work with the same basic laws of physics. But don’t worry, we will keep working on this one until we have defied the laws of gravity.

Is Flat Attack flammable or explosive?
No. Unlike the aerosol sealants which use flammable gases to inject the latex sealant. Flat Attack is simply applied into the tube with a squeeze of the bottle No flammable agents are used.

How large of a hole can Flat Attack fix?
Up to 1/8" holes.

Will Flat Attack dry out?
Not as long as it is inside a tire or a tube it will only dry out if it is exposed to the outside air. Air inside the tire is stagnant so Flat Attacks moisture cannot evaporate.

I use the new tubeless tires on my bicycle, will Flat Attack work in these?
Yes. We use a series of different fibers for different tires and different kinds of punctures. For instance; a puncture vine hole requires different fibers in different quantities than a nail hole or glass cut. With Flat Attack one sealant will take care of all the different situations, sealing holes up to 1/8’, sometimes bigger.

How long will Flat Attack work?
It can work for years, even outlasting the life of your tire.

Isn’t Flat Attack just a copy of the other green sealant?
Not at all. Having started in 1982, we have been making our formula for at least 7 years longer than any of our major competitors. Our formula is totally different and it is this difference that makes Flat Attack work better. Nobody has been able to duplicate our formula in all these years. And believe us, they have tried.

Do I carry a bottle around with me until I get a flat?
No, Flat Attack is a flat preventive Put Flat Attack in a brand new tube and ride with the assurance that thorns. sharp rocks, glass, nails or other puncturing agents will not put you on the side of the mountain trail miles from nowhere or at the curb in an urban area where you would really rather not stop It will always be there reedy to work for you.

Do I have to patch a puncture after I get home?
Not with Flat Attack. We use a special combination of fibers and other plugging agents that are forced into the puncture as soon as the puncturing agent is removed These fibers plug the hole and other agents then dry on the top and create a permanent seal.

If by chance this plug is ever dislodged from the hole, more sealant immediately blows into the hole and reseals it. If you ever do get a hole that is to big for Flat Attack to seal effectively you need only wipe off any Flat Attack that may be on the tube with a damp cloth and patch as you normally would. Unlike the others, Flat Attack does not leave an oily residue that will require a chemical wipe to remove their oily residue before you can patch.

Is it only good to use in my bicycle?
Not at all It will work in any pneumatic tire.

My Bicycle Has Presta Valves. (A skinny metal valve, sometimes called a French valve) can I inject Flat Attack in these tubes?
Sorry you cannot, but please see Freedom Tubes page.
